Now Adobe (sort of) announced a new AI initiative - CAVA. Stability AI released a new model. The speed of these announcements and updates is only going to get faster and faster.

HPA Tech Retreat is happening now. We’ll post any interesting updates to be aware of this Saturday, but Puget Systems announced some new hardware that we cover below.

STAGE A

👨‍🔬 Gautham Mysore just announced that he is leading up a new research organization created at Adobe, called CAVA (Co-Creation for Audio, Video, & Animation)

Generative AI is reducing the gap between idea and produced video. This will help creators from professional filmmakers to social video creators.

Technical barriers will be lifted. Mundane tasks will be eliminated. People will have all the creative control they desire to tell their story. They will co-create with AI. They will have content intelligence tools to make sense of captured video, which we don't think will ever go away.

Generated and captured video will co-exist in video production. This is the future that we aim to create and we have only scratched the surface of what will be possible. To do this, we invent new AI models, algorithms, and interaction paradigms.
