This week at a private event in Tampa, Vū gave VP Land an exclusive look at its next major leap—the Gen 3 version of Vū Studio, its software platform that redefines how creative teams interact with visual content.
Built on years of experience in virtual production, Gen 3 introduces generative storytelling, browser-based control, and simplified workflows that extend beyond film production into education, enterprise, and immersive presentations.

For years, Vū was known for its LED stages and integrated control systems. Now, it's positioning itself as a browser-based, AI-enhanced ecosystem for real-time content creation and collaboration.
Here’s how the Vū Studio software has evolved into the central hub of its creative platform:
Generation 1 allowed users to send visuals to LED walls quickly, giving them immediate scene previews.
Generation 2 introduced a unified interface for controlling lighting, cameras, motion rigs, and audio, streamlining studio operations.
Generation 3 brings automation and generative tools that remove friction between idea and execution, opening Vū to new use cases beyond film.
Rather than treating visuals as static assets, Vū now sees them as dynamic storytelling elements, composable in real time. You can start with a voice command and have a visual appear on screen in seconds, with matching lighting and camera alignment ready to go.
One of the most significant additions is Vū AI, a voice-activated assistant trained on each organization’s own asset library and control preferences, with the ability to ingest, tag, and organize assets using point folders and metadata.
Assets can be stored locally or networked, and responsive formats like Three.js ensure compatibility across various screen types and orientations. It bridges generative content with studio operations.
Users can generate custom images or video loops using natural language prompts, powered by models like Stable Diffusion and Runway.
Once created, assets can be cast directly to the wall—no manual uploading required.
Voice commands also control visual parameters like exposure, scale, and color temperature, eliminating traditional UI friction.
The assistant can even understand tagged asset metadata, allowing users to call up visuals by mood, setting, or usage type. And Vū's backend is flexible, figuring out the best model for the job or accessing custom enterprise APIs.
Our thought's always been to create content at the speed of thought. You really have to have a new way of communicating with technology. And so you'll see with all the systems we deploy, we have a touchscreen, we have voice activation...we believe those modalities are much more natural than the keyboard and mouse.
