Promise Offers Model of What New AI Content Studios Could Look Like

Promise, a new studio backed by Peter Chernin, is redefining a new era of content agencies, blending traditional filmmaking with generative AI. Using its MUSE software, it streamlines creativity while focusing on creator-led projects and original IP.

• MUSE Integration: At the heart of Promise is MUSE, its proprietary production workflow software. MUSE integrates the latest Gen AI tools throughout the creative process in a streamlined, collaborative, and secure environment. The in-house team is collaborating on developing the workflows, processes, and tools that will be at the heart of Promise.

• In-House Talent: Promise has assembled a 15-person team of artists and technologists, including VFX veteran Rob Nederhorst, ("John Wick 3") as Head of Creative Technology and AI filmmaker MetaPuppet as Head of Genre/Gen AI Director. MetaPuppet’s Mnemonade took the top prize at last year’s The Culver Cup.

• Creator-Led Approach: Promise emphasizes a creator-led environment, fostering an open and energetic atmosphere. Promise is consciously prioritizing creators to drive the energy and collaborate on ideas. This approach is evident in their hiring choices, opting for innovative creators over traditional development executives.

• Dual Development Strategy: The artists-in-residence will work on their own original ideas and on "assignments" involving established IP or collaborations with Hollywood creators. These assignments could involve established IP or pairing the artists with established Hollywood creators to explore Gen AI applications.

• Not a Vendor: Promise is not aiming to be a vendor for studios seeking to incorporate Gen AI into existing productions. Instead, it is focused on developing its own IP in-house or partnering with traditional Hollywood creators in the development phase, acting as a co-producer.

Generate Images at Scale with Ideogram + ChatGPT

You can easily generate multiple images by uploading Ideogram's batch-generation CSV template to ChatGPT and creating image prompts at scale for brainstorming and rapid ideation.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Get the CSV template from Ideogram’s website.

2. Upload the CSV to ChatGPT to auto-generate the prompts. Here’s a sample prompt:

   • Task: Generate a CSV file with 10 prompts following the template of the provided CSV file.

   • Context: The prompts will be used to create a design for sneaker ads. Ensure the prompts are diverse, creative, and engaging.

   • Settings: Use 1:1 aspect ratio, set visibility to "private", model to 2.0, rendering to "default", magic prompt to "on" and use "auto" as style.

3. Download/save the new CSV file.

4. Go to Ideogram and navigate to the Batch section.

5. Upload the CSV File.

6. Click Start batch generation to begin processing. Each prompt will generate four images

7. You can browse and download in Ideogram, or batch download all the files.
