Sony’s portable motion capture system
Sony just announced mocopi, their new mobile motion capture system. Using their smartphone app and the six lightweight sensors you can do full body motion tracking.
Each sensor is 1.26 inches in diameter, weighs 8 grams, and comes with velcro straps. Sensors pair to the phone via Bluetooth and are rechargeable.
Animate pre-made avatars or import your own via the mocopi app.
SDK integrates with Unreal, enabling a real-time stream of motion-tracking data.
