Brompton Technology has announced a significant software update, Tessera v3.5, at InfoComm 2024, introducing new features and improvements tailored for professional workflows in live events, virtual production, broadcast, XR, corporate, and esports markets.
The update includes Frame Store, Hidden Markers, and Dark Time Insertion, which complement Tessera's existing industry-leading capabilities.

Behind the Scenes
Frame Store allows users to store and recall 24 bitmaps, captured from live video or uploaded directly, integrated into the Test Pattern function with support for HDR.
Hidden Marker improvements remove limitations on the number of panels that can be used, as the image is now stored within the panels rather than generated by the LED processor.
Brompton now offers digital tracking markers functionality with stYpe's RedSpy and allows users to choose Custom Markers, which can be uploaded remotely or through the API.
Dark Time Insertion builds on Brompton's patented ShutterSync® technology to reduce motion blur and enhance the viewer experience in applications such as simulators or eGaming.
Enable Brightness Limit allows users to set a maximum brightness limit in Global Colour, particularly valuable when granting brightness control through the API or remote access to the Tessera LED processor.
